The author
Marion Bohn-Förder successfully breeds grey Pomeranian Geese, Canada Geese, Lesser White-fronted Geese and Pearl Grey silky fowl in Vogelsberg, Hessen. She is a volunteer with the Verband der Rassegeflügelzüchter and is actively involved in public relations for the geese. A highlight of her breeding career is the film "Die Gänsezüchterin" (The Goose Breeder), which the Hessische Rundfunk made at her place in 2009.
