The book deals with the Psittacula. Psittacula are considered as the pioneers of the parrot science. Already in the antiquity the wonderful animals arrived in Europe and have remained popular aviary birds until today. These parakeets can become quite tame, but they have a great need for movement and need a lot of space, employment and social contacts. It requires a good knowledge of the respective bird species to meet the requirements of these animals.
